Music, Movement & Meaningful Connections
Stephanie Bandosik, owner of Foxy Trot Dance, recognizes that most people are deficient in “Vitamin M”: music, movement and meaningful connections. Stephanie empowers individuals to experience the joys of dance, drawing from her vast experience of 10 years as a dance instructor, storyteller and Iroquois Studies educator. No matter ones shape, age, experience, or fitness level, Stephanie is able to connect, leaving each of her students with a new appreciation and love for creative movement. Stephanie is a graduate of Russell Sage College for Women, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in sociology and women’s studies as well as the MultiCultural Award and an Award for Peaceful Conflict Resolution. She has advanced education in cultural anthropology through the University at Albany. Stephanie enjoys volunteering with the Interfaith Story Circle of the Tri-City Area and Out of the Pits, a pit bull advocacy group. She is a docent with the Iroquois Indian Museum in Howes Cave, NY and an event volunteer with Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community, where she has participated in Mohawk language immersion. Stephanie’s clients include individuals, couples, corporations, wellness and social groups, schools, senior centers, libraries and community organizations.
